I finished my first Rockin Sock Club kit:

Queen of Beads
The pattern is just lovely. I could definately make another pair. The colorway is fantastic – the picture doesn’t do it justice. The subtle differences are just spectacular knit up.

They would have been done a lot faster had I not made some silly mistakes on the second sock. What kind of silly mistakes? Well, I was almost done with the leg and I held it up with the first. The circumfrence was a full inch smaller. I tried it on and it was TIGHT. At first, I thought I’d just been knitting REALLY tight, but after ripping back to the ribbing and starting the pattern again, I realized that sock 1 had 7 sets of beads around the leg and sock 2 only had 6. Yes, I had been making the small instead of the medium. Duh. The next day I cast-on the second sock again, when I took out the provisional cast-on, I realized I had done something wrong and I had what looked like a dropped stitch. I ripped it out again and put it aside to make Wrenna. After seeing my shipment notification for my March RSC shipment, I decided to pick it back up and knit it quickly. Now, they’re beautiful.
Loving my Christmas present! Might have to be an annual gift.
PS – Just realized these pictures are not what they should be. I’ll try to get better pictures and update them!

Yay for keeping up with the RSC! QoB is so pretty. I can totally see it in a slew of colors with different beads.
